It ain’t all about the Benjamins!
DON’T be the realtor that is in it just for the money. This isn’t a job where you focus all your efforts on your profits. It’s quite the contrary, you have to focus all of your efforts on your clients. It’s easy to get $10k on a 300k home sale (roughly 3%), but it’s a lot harder to sell that home to your clients and make sure your clients are completely content and happy with their purchase. If you can make a difference in their buying/selling process and make them feel like it was a dynamite decision to hire you, then the money will flow by itself.

Focus all your efforts on your clients and the process so you don’t have to worry about the money. Be the person that wakes up in the morning and wants to change people’s lives for the better, no matter the cost or pay! If you can make your work stand out against the competition and effectively and comfortably help your clients, you will reap so much more than just that commission check they send you after a closing.
